I have weird karma around just missing such incidents, as in, I was ALMOST there. Including 911, the Vegas shootings, a machete rampage in north London and an attempted coup in the Philippines.
On Friday, I was supposed to be having dinner in a restaurant a minute away from where, once again, a scumbag human-being carried out scumbaggery in my beautiful city.
And this morning, I was woken up by the sound of an explosion.
And here's what I'm feeling...
THANK YOU 🙏 to the man who grabbed a fire extinguisher to douse the terrorist
THANK YOU 🙏 to the man who grabbed a whale tusk (😆) off a wall to smash the terrorist with
THANK YOU 🙏 to the other men who crossed traffic and jumped over barriers to subdue him
THANK YOU 🙏 to the officers who got there within minutes and neutralised the threat
THANK YOU 🙏 to the two Royal Air Force pilots whose sonic booms woke me up at 0430 this morning because they were protecting our airspace from an aircraft that was not identifying itself.
THESE MEN MOVED *TOWARDS* DANGER.
While others rightly ran from the danger, these bad mofos ran towards it. Think about that. Take a minute to feel that shiit.
This is the defining characteristic of the warrior.
This is an example of the 'martial culture' I'm wanting to introduce into our collective consciousness.
This is an example of the re-integration of the warrior archetype back into our lives.
It's the absence of this energy, and our disconnection from it within ourselves that is the cause of a lot more suffering than I believe people realize.
If the actions of these brave men resonate with you or stir something inside of you, THIS is what I'm trying to bring out in all men through the Warrior Embodiment process I use.
